Children's Church
Children are the hope of our future so, at the The Door-Katy, we aim to give them a solid foundation of Bible understanding. We provide a children's church ministry during the Sunday services in a fun and inviting environment suitable for them. Felix and Estephanie Ortiz lead our Children's Church where they get the kids excited about learning the Word of God through fun verse memorization games, crafts, and science experiments.
Felix gave his life to Christ at the age of 17 when he raised his hand at a Men's Discipleship Class in San Antonio, Texas. Since then, he has slowly felt God pulling on his heart strings to be an aid to the youth as they follow Christ throughout their lives. He and Estephanie enjoy creating ways to grow a new generation of believers who are enthusiastic about the things of God. Take a look at the pictures and videos below and catch a glimpse of the fun.

CHRISTMAS PLAY 2022!
After months of rehearsal, "Just A Little Christmas" was performed on December 18, 2022. Our "lambs" enjoyed dressing up in their costumes and saying "bah bah" as they were led by the shepherds. Most importantly, the children and those in attendance learned the nativity story and the true meaning of Christmas. After the show the cast, crew and audience members enjoyed cookies, hot cocoa and a visit from Santa. The 2022 Christmas play was a fantastic success-to the glory of God!
